What is COACHING?
The International Coaching Federation (ICF, the world's leading coaching federation with over 40,000 coaches in 150 countries), defines professional coaching as a thought and creativity process created in partnership with a client to inspire them to maximize its potential personal and professional development in an increasingly complex and uncertain environment in today's workplace. In other words, coaching is a a booster of motivation, well-being and performance.
What are the terms and conditions?
Individually, The support is provided in the form of face-to-face or remote sessions lasting 1 to 1.5 hours, spaced 1 to 4 weeks apart. There may be 3 to 10 sessions, or even more depending on the needs.
In a group, Customized modules are built that can range from a few hours to 1, 2 or more days of group coaching in person or remotely, lasting from a few months to several years depending on the client's objectives and constraints.
Some revealing figures
Proven benefits of coaching:
Two out of three employees report being highly engaged (compared to one out of two for the rest of the sample).
And 51% of these companies have revenues above the average for their sector (compared to only 38% for the rest of the sample)
According to the same study, Coaching contributes to:
Increase the self-confidence (80% of respondents)
To improve interpersonal relationships (73% of respondents)
Develop the communication skills (72% of respondents)
Improving the work environment and work-life balance (67% of respondents)
Approximately 60% respondents demonstrated increased productivity:
Efficiency of the team
Work performance
More constructive relationships
Best time management
Faster leadership development
The key lies in the coach's professionalism: at ICF, two-thirds of member coaches are certified, and the path to becoming a Certified Coach is very demanding. Not only must one have completed a duly accredited training program, but one must also be able to demonstrate a certain number of practice hours depending on the level sought (more than 2,500 at the Master level, representing approximately 10 years of experience). Since 2020, a digital badge has guaranteed clients the reliability of coach certifications.
